Luceplan Group is an award winning producer of consumer, technical, architectural and contract lighting fixtures, made in Italy. Luceplan is based in Milan with branches in New York, Berlin, Paris and Copenhagen. It operates in all the most advanced international market places with exports amounting to 75% of its turnover.

Willem van der Sluis graduated at the Rietveld Art-Academy in 1996. In 1997 he starts his own design studio "WVDS" creating and producing products for the interior market and realising different total-interior projects and one-offs. In 1999 he collaborates with Solar Initiative. A year later he starts a 3D design department within this company.
